Snowblowers Saved the Day for the Blizzard of 2009

The Blizzard of '09 was one of the most intense in recent memory for people all over the country. Hit particularly hard were areas on the East Coast that aren't always used to getting extreme amounts of snow. In areas like Maryland where 2 inches usually close the schools, a full two feet of snow blanketed the ground in a matter of a day. That means that a lot of people had a lot of snow to clear, and the people that fared the best were the ones with some great snowblowers on hand to help them take care of all of the mess.

Of course, it's this kind of weather that tends to bring people together. It's a common shared experience, and people help each other out. So when somebody on your block has a great snowblower, you know he was willing to help out neighbors, friends and family with his tools. Read more

My first time using a snowblower

If you go around calling yourself "The Quality Snow Blower Guy", then clearly you have a love and a passion for snowblowers. And that certainly is the case for me, and that dates back to the first time I ever used a snowblower.

I grew up having to shovel my driveway when it snowed. Granted we weren't living in the Canadian Yukon, but we got enough large snow storms a year that the task got to be less than fun. Of course, when you're a kid, you'll clear 10 driveways if they paid you a few dollars to do it, but you don't get paid doing it at your own house! Read more
