I purchased an L1428E. Melting snow causes slipping of the friction drive, you have no forward and no reverse. The dealer tried twice to fix it and Snapper said " don't get snow on it and your problems are solved". Yeh leave it in the garage. Very very bad engineering. The dealer can't fix it and Snapper won't. Stay away from a Snapper. Do Not Buy a Snapper Snow Blower. I purchased an L1428E. It does not take hardly any snow and you end up just pushing snow into a pile. You have to go over an area 2 - 3 times to get the snow removed. I have a Snapper mower and think it is the best on the market and is why I purchased the blower. What a disapointment!
