It also start EVERYtime, with the 1st pull.

I have had NO trouble with this unit. 
Living in PA; we not only get snow BUT ice!

My unit is track-drive so, I keep the power-drive on &amp; it keeps on chuggin&#039; through. I did break 1 auger sheer-pin. 
When I went to the shop to purchase a replacement sheer-pin. 
There were a few units @ the shop being worked on.

I was suprised to see how COMPLEX the inside of the newer units are. When compared to my old HS55...

Man, IF your HS55 is still starting on the first pull &amp; running well. I&#039;d keep your HS55 and your $ in your pocket. 

Maybe splurge &amp; buy some paint &amp; wax to spruce-up your machine when the winter storms are a memory...
